Truth Corroded releases ‘Upon the Warlords Crawl’

Truth Corrodeds new album ‘Upon The Warlords Crawl’ is available now in all good stores Australia wide, so if you thought that the bands first song to be posted on myspace ‘Decimate’ was devastating, then prepare for an onslaught!!

The bands strongest recording from its most formidable line up, ‘Warlords’ is dark and extreme thrash that will appeal to fans of late eighties/early nineties bands such as Slayer, Testament, Sepultura and Dark Angel as to fans of bands such as Lamb Of God and Chimaira.

From the neck snapping ‘Crown The Apocalypse’ and ‘We Are Failed’ to the Neurosis inspired darkness of ‘Buried Alive By Demons’ and ‘Despair Your Black Earth’, the album backs up its confronting lyrical stance with sheer devastating thrash that will slay your neck and declare total war on the sounds of the weak – Truth Corroded are ready to battle!

Tonerider Pickups now available on Whittaker Guitars

Whittaker Guitars Jag 1 with Tonerider Pure Vintage PickupsWhittaker Guitars build just a small number of guitars each year.
Each instrument is different, – no two are alike. Each is designed in collaboration with the customer, with a specific concept or theme in mind, with the aim of creating a guitar with a strong personality bound up in its appearance, materials, sound and feel. – An alternative to the ubiquitous production-line F’s and G’s. – An individual.

If you’re a player with a few guitars under your belt, there comes a time when you lust for a guitar that is special. Yours. It’s the one where everything is how you like it… just that little extra fretboard width to accommodate your fat fingertips… that honky flash of gold and abalone… that shape and colour that you just can’t get off the shelf.

Now Tonerider Pickups are an option on all custom designs.

Tonerider Launches Strat Pickups for Lefty’s

Building on the success of its vintage-improved Alnico pickup series for Strat-type guitars, Tonerider introduces a new left-handed version of its best-selling Pure Vintage (TRS1). Production of the LH pickup has commenced and will be available in dealer stores and distributors in mid-May. The list price is $135.00 US dollars per set.

Finding high-quality pickups with left-handed magnet staggers has always been hard, but the Pure Vintage LH goes further than just switching around the pole piece lengths. Andrew Cunningham, one of
Tonerider’s founders and its chief pickup designer explains more: “It’s necessary for us to introduce “lefty” models because we aren’t just putting different length pole pieces into the pickup and calling it a “stagger”. Across the range of positions (neck, mid and bridge), Tonerider magnets might be charged stronger in the bass position and demagnetized slightly in the treble position, and, in the case of the bridge pickup, use a mix of two different Alnico grades. Simply put, only with a full “Lefty” can you get 100% of the performance of the design into your tone.”
With the increasing visibility of the Tonerider brand within the pro-musician community, requests from left-handed players have been growing, reaching a groundswell after Tonerider’s launch in the UK market.
