A sweet sounding Telecaster pickup set with unrivalled clarity
Rhythm, lead, chicken pickin’ and slide never sounded better! Our Vintage Plus neck model offers warmth and clarity and enough punch for country, blues, pop and jazz applications and comes with our German-Silver cover in gold or nickel (no tone sucking brass). The bridge uses aged magnets and is under-wound to retain the dynamic high-end that country players demand, without sacrificing the slightly compressed low-end that makes tele bridge pickups a joy to play. Rolling back the volume and tone slightly create a wonderfully open tone for combined rhythm and chord work.
Characteristics: Vintage, great for rhythm and lead, extremely clear trebles, never muddy.
Magnets: Alnico V DC Resistance: 6.8k (neck), 6.3k (bridge)

ProLoops Chooses Tonerider Alnico IV for Andy Summers Tones

51 electric guitar ’song builder’ loops in the style of legendary Police guitarist Andy Summers. In homage to them finally getting back out on tour we decided to begin a series of ‘Summer’s’ style song builder updates featuring his signature rhythm comps, strums and arpeggios.
Recorded into Protools using amp farm and a Focusrite compressor they were played on a Modified Telecaster. The neck pick-up was replaced with the stunning Tonerider Alnico IV Classic humbucker.
